Members of the World Fishing Exhibition Executive Committee had a meeting with Teresa Pisano, State Delegate of the Consortium of the Free Trade Zone of Vigo. During the meeting, the President of the Executive Committee, Alfonso Paz-Andrade, talked about the objectives set for this year’s exhibition, as well as about the parallel events to be celebrated, such as the Fifth Fisheries Ministers Conference and the World Summit on Fisheries Sustainability. In this regard, Paz-Andrade highlighted the record attendance level of international companies to the World Fishing Exhibition. As for Teresa Pisano, she underlined the significance of the Exhibition for the city and for Galician companies and therefore offered the collaboration of the Consortium of the Free Trade Zone of Vigo for the successful development of the World Fishing Exhibition.
Companies from the five continents will be present at the World Fishing Exhibition and Aqua Farming International in September this year. A large number of companies from all over the world have already booked their stands and will be travelling to the Exhibition from Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), Asia (Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, China, Korea or Vietnam) or Africa (Namibia, Cape Verde, South Africa, Senegal and Mauritius). A large group of companies will also arrive from America, especially from the U.S.A., Canada, Brazil, Peru, Chile and Argentina; as well as from the Middle East: Israel, Pakistan and Iran.
