From 16 to 19 June, Southampton hosted a new round of Seawork, organized by Mercator Media, associated company to World Trade Exhibitions. This year's exhibition has meant a qualitative step forward in terms of organization, as it has been demonstrated by the number of exhibitors attending the show. In parallel, and against all predictions, given the present economic climate, the contracted exhibiting space in Seawork 2009 has increased by 5% and the number of visitors by 11%. In view of these data, Seawork is starting to carve out a place for itself in the international panorama of exhibitions devoted to commercial and auxiliary vessels, as it has been stated by several Spanish exhibitors contacted by this press office, who showed their satisfaction for the quality, good organization and the commercial interest of the event.
The organizers of Seawork are associated to World Trade Exhibitions, technical organizers of the World Fishing Exhibition and Aqua Farming International, as well as of the first AQA Conference, to be held within the scope of Vigo’09.
