Based in Vigo, the Rodman Group is taking part in the World Fishing Exhibition displaying information about its business, products at its stand, easily recognisable due to the 16m long patrol boat for surveillance and maritime security. There are three divisions of the company: steel boats, special crafts and leisure boats, and with five shipyards located in Spain and Portugal, the Rodman Group has the largest industrial facilities in Spain; totalling 240 000 square metres, of which 66 000 square metres are roofed facilities.
The Rodman plants are shared between Metalships & Docks in Vigo; Rodman Polyships, in Moaña (Pontevedra); Rodman Lusitania, in Valença do Minho (Northern Portugal); Conafi, in Vila Real de San Antonio (Southern Portugal), and Neuvisa, in El Rosal (Pontevedra).
Since it was founded, Rodman has constructed and delivered over 13 000 vessels, a fact that casts the Rodman Group as an indisputable leader of the Spanish shipbuilding industry supported by their “highest standards of quality, maximum safety and optimal sailing performance, as well as a diverse and versatile range of products.”
